What is the purpose of a candle but to illuminate or see things? "Searching the inward parts of the belly," that is the spirit of man. This passage is telling us that man is spirit and can know God’s plans. Now man is three persons in one. So, the real you is your spirit. God also is Spirit, and when He wants to speak to you, He speaks to your spirit and not your head or your brain. So God speaks to our spirit and that spirit will pass the information on to us. One of the challenges of church world today is to balance the tri-person. A man is made up three independent parts-spirit, soul and body.
